Everything in one workspace

Six things Notoo does, all without an account and all stored on your own device.

Notes, tasks & rich documents

Capture everything in one place — quick notes, checklists, and fully formatted documents with headings, tables and embeds.

Code editor with syntax highlighting

A real editor for your snippets, with highlighting across dozens of languages. Keep the scratch code you never want to lose.

Markdown with live preview

Write markdown and watch it render side by side. Ideal for READMEs, notes and documentation drafts.

Freehand drawings & diagrams

Sketch a state diagram, a system design or a rough idea without leaving your workspace.

16 developer tools built in

Format JSON, decode a JWT, hash text, test a regex, parse cron expressions and more — each one a shareable link.

100% local — no account, no tracking

Everything is stored in your browser. Nothing touches a server, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to leak.

Your whole workspace, private by default

Notoo keeps your notes, tasks, snippets, documents, markdown, and sketches in one place — stored right in your browser, so nothing ever touches a server. Open it and start typing; there's no sign-up.

Developers also get a growing suite of 16 instant tools — format JSON, decode a JWT, generate UUIDs, hash text, test regex, convert cron expressions, diff files, and more — each one shareable as its own link.

Why Notoo exists

Most note apps want an account before you can type a word, then sync your half-finished thoughts to a server you don't control. Notoo goes the other direction: everything stays on your device, so a scratch note stays a scratch note.

That constraint turned out to be freeing rather than limiting. With no backend there is no sign-up flow, no sync conflicts, no waiting on a network round-trip — and nothing that can leak, because nothing ever leaves your browser.

What you get is a notebook, a code editor, a markdown previewer, a sketchpad, and a set of developer tools that happens to require nothing from you.

Start typing. That's the whole setup.

No account, no install, nothing to configure. Open it and it's yours.
